The Daily Telefrag has conducted a Q&A with Ian Currie of Sirtech Canada, talking about the current status of the company. It was announced last week that the company had let go much of their staff (story), and Ian talks about this, saying that they had been looking for a joint Wizardry 8 and 9 publishing deal that would have funded the ninth game in the series. He says there are interested parties, but on a somber note, says that "Unless we find funding in the next few weeks, the company will close its doors."
