A very brief Game Teaser takes a first look at what's going on at Yellow Brick Games, the startup studio co-founded by former Dragon Age creative director Mike Laidlaw. There's not much, the clip shows very brief glimpses of environments, a creature, and a giant. But we're promised a fuller reveal on April 2nd, so we should learn more soon. A post on the company's website has the news that it will be self-publishing its debut title:

Today marks an exciting milestone for Yellow Brick Games, as we anticipate the reveal date of our debut Fantasy Action-Adventure game. After four years of very hard work, we are thrilled to say that next Tuesday – April 2nd our game will be presented to the world through an IGN First feature scheduled for the entire month of April. This deep dive will provide many details into our all-new fantasy world, as well as behind-the-scenes insights from our developers.

Additionally, Yellow Brick Game announces a notable change: we’ll be taking the self-publishing route to bring this game to market in 2025.

As we embark on this new chapter, our amazing team of 68 talented human beings is filled with excitement and determination. Since the beginning of our project, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive unwavering support from friends, partners, other studios, and, most importantly, our growing community. We’re taking control of the release of our new game, and we know you’ll still be with us on our journey down this newly independent road.
