This is the latest in a lengthy saga regarding the release of the add-on that began with news that the planned multiplayer campaign mode was being dropped until a post-release release (story), followed by a report that Mongol Invasion would be out in Europe on June 29 to coincide with the US Warlord Edition re-release (story), and a subsequent report that it was delayed until July 20 (story), and yet another (erroneous, as it turns out) report that Mongol Invasion was gold, and on track to meet that July 20 date (story). The lesson on release dates has sunk in partly, as there is no commitment to a specific date in the latest update, though they can't resist saying gamers looking to play the pack "will be doing so by the end of August at the very latest."
