Unity Apologizes; Promises Changes

An apologetic X from Unity announces the game engine developer is "listening" to the angry response to its proposal to charge per-install royalties for games using the Unity engine. It's taken almost a week to read the room, but after signaling it would mostly stand its ground, the post suggests the company may be choosing not to die on this hill after all.
