Telltale announces the launch of the first episode of
The Expanse: A
Telltale Series for PC and consoles, kicking off the first game in years
from the episodic game developer that was closed for a while before a
revival about four years ago. The Windows
edition of this television tie-in is available on the
Epic
Games Store, and word is new installments will come every two weeks, so
there won't be an extended wait to complete its five episode arc. Here's the
Redband Trailer (NSFW) featuring some odd accents, a mix of extra-long and
extra-short necks, and a bunch of f-bombs. Here's more on the game and how it
ties into the Expanse television series:
The Expanse: A Telltale Series is
set prior to the events of Alcon Television Group’s award-winning television
series which streams on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes. Players take on the role
of Camina Drummer – played by actress Cara Gee in both the game and TV series,
the XO of a scavenger crew on the hunt for a mysterious treasure on the edges of
The Belt. As Drummer, players must deal with a mix of powerful personalities,
square off against a bloody mutiny, explore locations beyond The Belt and, most
of all, make tough decisions that will decide the fate of The Artemis
crew.
