Blizzard has made a post to their forums with the news that the recently released version 1.08 patch for Diablo II accidentally included changes meant for the now-gold Lord of Destruction add-on (thanks Diablo II.net). According to their update, the server-side changes which will remove these features will be going into effect on their servers "within the next couple of days."
