A beta version 2.0 patch for MechWarrior 4: Vengeance has been released, and while the included README states that it is "not intended for public use," we verified with the MW4 development team today that it is allowed to be distributed beyond beta testers. The unsupported 12.9 MB patch can be downloaded from MW4Online.com (thanks gb_operator), DropShipCommand (thanks ArKhaine), and FilePlanet (thanks Patches Scrolls), and the former two sites also offer a dedicated server .BAT file and the NFO Editor (to alter multiplayer missions) for download.
