PC.IGN attended Ubi Soft's press event in San Francisco yesterday, and so they have posted a preview of Rogue Spear: Black Thorn based on what they saw there. The preview describes the game as "a stand-alone mission pack running on the Rogue Spear engine" and it provides some information on the weapons that will be available in the game and details on the mission they were able to play.
