As was announced last week, eight classic SSI Silver Box games are now available again for the first time in decades. Four of these, Heroes of the Lance, Dragons of Flame, War of the Lance, and Shadow Sorcerer, are part of the Silver Box Classics collection on GOG.com* and Steam. The other four are being offered individually. They are DragonStrike (GOG.com*/Steam), Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace (GOG.com*/Steam), Fantasy Empires (GOG.com*/Steam), and DeathKeep (GOG.com*/Steam). These carry launch discounts, and come as a D&D Direct 2023 Sale on Steam gets underway. Here's more on the releases:

Today, SNEG — boutique publisher of long-lost titles — is launching eight long-dormant Dungeons & Dragons games for Windows PC via GOG and Steam. The list features many of the first D&D video games, some available for the first time in over 25 years, and includes Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace, Fantasy Empires, DragonStrike, DeathKeep, and Heroes of the Lance, Dragons of Flame, War of the Lance, and Shadow Sorcerer available in the Silver Box Classics bundle. Each game contains digital bonus materials from their original releases, such as manuals, rulebooks, and cluebooks.
