Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is now available for Windows
on
Steam as well as for consoles, offering a dark fantasy action/RPG from Team
NINJA. Yesterday we posted a
roundup of critic reviews, and the game currently has "mostly negative" user
reviews. But there is a playable demo to help potential players decide if this
is for them. Last week's
Launch Trailer set the stage for the game, and here are more
details:
Set in 184 AD, during the Later Han Dynasty, Wo Long features a land overcome by chaos and destruction. With an imperial dynasty on the verge of collapse, it’s up to a nameless militia solder to overcome adversity while fighting for survival in the turbulence of a Three Kingdoms plagued by demons and overrun by some of history’s most powerful and intimidating warriors, including Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Jian. To overcome the odds, players will need to awaken their inner strength by mastering the fluid swordplay of the Chinese martial arts, cast Wizardry spells based on the Five Phases (elements), and even summon Divine Beasts when things appear most bleak.
