GameSpot previews Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds giving us a feel of what to expect from this upcoming Star Wars real-time strategy game after checking it out first-hand during a visit to LucasArts' offices. The article describes how this will use what Ensemble Studios is now calling 'genie technology' that was the engine for Age of Kings, saying "Galactic Battlegrounds is basically Age of Empires II but with Star Wars units and settings," and that "by both learning from their mistakes on Force Commander and using a proven technology, they'll hopefully be able to create a better strategy game."
