Although it's been long confirmed and there have even been screenshots available, 3DO has formally announced today Heroes of Might and Magic IV, the latest installment in this venerable strategy game series. The press release doesn't really say what's new in this game beyond the engine, and the gameplay description sounds pretty much like all the others in the series.
