The official Gathering of Developers site has been updated with the sad news that Doug Myres passed away just before midnight on May 3rd as a result of an asthma attack. A funeral service will be held in Fort Worth, Texas on May 7th, and his family is welcoming anyone that wishes to pay their respects. GoD's Mike Wilson also mentions that he will be willing to help out anyone that wants to attend but cannot due to financial difficulties. We here at Blue's News knew Doug well and are very stunned and saddened by this loss. R.I.P. Doug Myres September 9, 1964 – May 3, 2001.
