Publisher Tripwire and developer Torn Banner announce that
Chivalry 2
will launch
on
Steam on June 12th. This concludes a year of exclusivity for the
first-person slasher on the
Epic Games Store,
where it launched
June 8th of last year. The
Steam launch will be a boon for all, however, as it will come alongside the
launch of the Tenosian Invasion update. This is described as the game's "largest
and most ambitious content update" to date, and it will be free for all players

The Steam version of the game will have
immediate parity with all other versions, containing all game updates released
to date, and the same content as every platform. To celebrate this tremendous
occasion, Chivalry 2 players can also look forward to the release of the
Tenosian Invasion update across all supported platforms, including PC (via
SteamandEpic Games Store), the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 computer
entertainment systems, the Xbox One family of devices, and the XboxSeries X|S
console systems day-and-date with the title’s Steam debut on June 12.
The Chivalry 2: Tenosian Invasion update will be the largest and most ambitious
content update yet for developer Torn Banner Studios. Players can look forward
to a bevy of new content including the introduction of the fierce Tenosian
faction, new team objective and team deathmatch maps, armory items, weapon
skins, and more. For the first time ever, mounted horseback combat comes to the
Chivalry franchise, adding a thrilling new way to battle in the genre-defining
