IGN reports that
The Day Before is making a switch, and will now use
the Unreal Engine 5. Experienced gamers know what this means, and sure enough
this also includes the news that what IGN calls "Steam's most wishlisted game"
is being delayed. IGN was actually the site that posted an
Official
Release Date Trailer that said the game was due on June 21st. Announcing a
release date eight months in advance is playing with fire, and in this case this
has resulted in burns. Undaunted, they are now specifying the game will arrive
on March 1, 2023. Here's word:
Millions of people have added The Day
Before to their wishlist, making The Day Before one of the most anticipated
games in the world.

gratitude in our hearts, we're pleased to announce that The Day Before is
switching to the new Unreal Engine 5 technology! The transition to a more
advanced and adapted open worlds engine, will make the gameplay of the day
before even more fantastic.
In this regard, we inform you that the new release date of the game will be
March 1st, 2023.
