Unreal Engine 5 and Sample Projects Released

The Unreal Engine Website announces the official launch of Unreal Engine 5 is the promised exciting news from today's State of Unreal presentation. Here's the video with a recap of the production. Along with downloads of Epic's new game engine are also a couple of sample projects to experience it firsthand. They are not necessarily games, but include components which can be used in Unreal Engine-based products. One is The City Sample, a PC offshoot of The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience. The other is Lyra Starter Game that can serve as the basis for shooter projects and more. Here are the full Unreal Engine 5.0 Release Notes, and here's a summary:
