ELDEN RING has made all sorts of headlines since it it launched, so the announcement from BANDAI NAMCO that the action/RPG is selling well shouldn't be a great surprise. But it's been only three weeks, so the news that the game has sold over 12 million units worldwide is still eye-opening. With such success, it's no surprise that the game is being called the start of a "new franchise":
