Fantasy General, released in 1996, is a
turn-based strategy game that combines magic and mechs in a realm overtaken by
shadow and ruin. Choose one of four generals with unique traits and abilities,
uncover hidden items and heroes to upgrade your troops, and win the fight to
restore peace to a broken world. Battle across varying terrain and make
challenging decisions in three game modes: Campaign, Scenarios and Local
Experience the historic battles of the Second World War in Pacific General.
Using turn-based combat, command the Allied forces on land, sea and sky in
recreations of real battles such as the Battle of Midway. Or take control of
Axis forces and see how the war could have ended had Japan triumphed in the
East. Originally released in 1997, Pacific General features over 18 customizable
vehicles and infantry classes, usable in all four game modes: Campaign, Battle
Generator Scenarios, and Local Multiplayer.
The ancient planet of Yavain teeters on the brink of anarchy in War Wind.
Experience the epic struggle through the eyes of one of four distinct races in
this real-time strategy game. War Wind features 28 scenarios across four unique
campaigns. Carry up to eight of your favorite units from scenario to scenario,
an innovation at the time of its release in 1996. Play through the deeply
compelling story, or create your own battles using the powerful Scenario Editor.
Fans of Command & Conquer and Warcraft II, or RTS newcomers alike, will enjoy
the classic War Wind and can claim it for free on Steam.
War Wind II: Human Onslaught, originally released in 1997, sees the war on
Yavain raging on, as human colonists have been brought into the conflict.
Building from the RTS gameplay from the original title, this sequel adds a great
variety of vehicular, mechanized and special units, with intense and exciting
maps, and more dynamic combat across 46 scenarios. The rich array of options,
graphics and sounds combined with the addition of the human element make War
Wind II: Human Onslaught a must-play for any real-time strategy fan.
