GameSpot has posted what appears to be the first hands-on preview of the PS2 version of Red Faction, Volition's upcoming first-person shooter of destructible enemies and environments that will also be released on the PC later this year. The preview is based on playing through a "rough build" of the game, and offers an overview of the backstory, detailed impressions of the gameplay, weapons, the levels with their Geo-Mod technology, and more. Accompanying the article is a gallery with a whopping 80 new screenshots.
