Ubisoft Ending Multiplayer Support for Older Games

A post on the Ubisoft Forums announces online services that Ubisoft is shutting down (thanks ResetEra). This means the end of multiplayer support for eight games on June 1st and an additional four games at some unspecified point this year. The post says: "we don’t take the decision to retire services for older Ubisoft games lightly, and we understand some of you may be disappointed by this news." Word is that while multiplayer service for these games will end, solo play will still work. This will also cause the end of in-game news and player star features, Ubisoft connect support will cease, players will no longer be able to earn in-game Units by completing Actions, in-game Rewards will no longer be awarded, and unlockable content can no longer be unlocked. Finally, the post notes that any in-game currency should be spent before the shutdown, as this will not be refunded. Here's the list:
