ENCODYA is now available on
GOG.com and
Steam, offering a point-and-click adventure for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
This is set in the year 2062 in the city of Neo Berlin starring a nine year-old
girl named Tina and her giant robot SAM-53, whose bond of friendship is shown
off in the
Release Trailer.
"It’s been a long journey with plenty of blood, sweat, and tears to get Encodya
into the hands of players," says Nicola Piovesan, Founder of developer
Chaosmonger Studio. "We here at Chaosmonger poured our hearts and souls into
this project and can’t wait to see people join Tina and SAM-53 on their quest to
save Neo Berlin." Here's more:
Encodya follows in the footsteps of beloved
titles like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, but with a hefty dose of
dystopian cyberpunk stylings. Join the plucky ragamuffin Tina and her best pal,
an imposing mass of metal and wiring named SAM-53, as they navigate the gritty
streets of Neo-Berlin. Tina and SAM-53 must use their wits to help fix a society
where mankind has become hopelessly addicted to the technology that allows them
to ignore the plight of their city and waste their days in a virtual world.
Encodya has been painstakingly and lovingly crafted from the ground up,
including a completely original soundtrack — right down to the ad jingles found
across Neo-Berlin — along with 35 unique and distinctive NPCs and a whopping
4,000+ lines of dialogue. A cute and colorful art design with a hint of
something more sinister reflects the progress, or lack thereof, of a city under
siege from rampant capitalism and an overreliance on technology. Explore a
beautifully realized world, solve puzzles, and help Tina and SAM-53 bring life
and love back into the city they call home.
