MacNN has received an update on the status of the Mac OS version of Escape from Monkey Island that's currently in development at Aspyr Media. According to Aspyr programmer Jesse Spears, the port has reached alpha status, and he provides a list of what's left to be done before the game is finished, and says that there isn't any firm release date yet beyond "sometime this year."
