The closed beta for VALORANT just got underway, but
Riot tweets
that they've already banned their first cheater (thanks
GameSpot via
The Loadout).
Cheating shows the competitive shooter is already coming of age (they grow up so
fast!). Here's word from Paul Chamberlain, programmer and anti-cheat lead on
VALORANT:
Well it sucks, but today we had to ban our first cheater (and it looks like more bans are on the horizon).
I was hoping for a little more time before this fight kicked off but we're in it now and we're ready.
