Steam and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Set New Concurrent User Records

The Steam Game and Player Statistics Page reveals a new concurrent user record, showing that earlier today 19,728,027 gamers were logged in on Valve's service at once (thanks DSOGaming). It was only about five weeks ago that the new record was established as 18,801,252, so this surpasses that by a significant margin. That page also shows today's top game by peak player count is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with 1,007,062 simultaneous users. This million user milestone also appears to be a record, as early last month it was reported that the competitive shooter had set a new high-water mark with 874,875 concurrent players.
