I want to thank everyone who took the time to share thoughts on my Windows 10
upgrade problem, I think the advice I received helped put me on the right track
here. I realize the idea of reinstalling Windows 7 to do an upgrade is
completely crazy when the option of just installing Windows 10 is preferable
anyway. I think I will just buy a new SSD to do so fresh and proceed from there.
This will be the best way to get the new OS, will circumvent any possible disc
issues with my old SSD, and provide me with the maximum ability to check back
with my previous programs and settings to make sure I'm set up the way I wish.
Win 10 win/win/winning. I feel like I have tiger blood.
