Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has now achieved a new high in concurrent players. The
game is now four years old, so it seems apparent that this is due to the new
Netflix series featuring the property. The
Official Steam Game and Player
Statistics Page puts today's peak number of players at 88,496, but according
to the calculations on
Steam Charts, the
game peaked at 94,601 concurrent players. According to
Polygon the previous high-water mark for the RPG sequel was 92,268, which
was when it launched in May 2015. Word is
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
is also seeing a bump, and is now on the list of the 100 most played games on
Steam.
