We All Fall Down is now available
on Steam, a new expansion offering a happy ending for
We Happy Few,
the action/adventure "set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an
alternative 1960s England." This requires the base game, and it is offered
separately, or as part of a season pass with the game's previous two add-ons.
Also, according to
GameSpot a documentary called The Cost of Joy: The Compulsion Games Story,
will debut on December 19 with a look at the making of the game. Here's the
We All Fall Down Launch
Trailer, and
this announcement has more details:
We All Fall Down returns to the
dark origins of We Happy Few’s drug-riddled world and eliminates survival
mechanics in favor of fast-paced action and storytelling. As Victoria Byng,
players must wrestle with the effects of withdrawal, speak out against the
government, and take up arms against the Bobbies to shine a light on the dismal
truth of society. To accomplish her mission, Victoria can maneuver around the
city’s rooftops, engage in close combat with her whip, and stealthily take out
opponents from afar with the new dart gun.
