Epic Settles with Fortnite Cheat-Seller

Epic has settled a lawsuit against a seller of cheats for Fortnite, their survival/battle royale shooter, reports BBC News. Confirming popular theories about those who traffic in videogame cheats, the defendant was a 14-year-old boy, identified only as CBV. This young man ran a YouTube channel demonstrating his hacks and a website where they were for sale. Word is that CBV's lawyer had filed a motion to dismiss the charges, because lawyers, but the settlement agreement says the defendant was represented in this matter by his mother, saying she worked with his pro bono attorney. The document does not detail the terms of the agreement, but the BBC reports that only three videos remain on the YouTube channel, all of which discuss the lawsuit.
