Alice Demo Released

As promised, Rogue and Electronic Arts have released the playable demo of American McGee's Alice, available for download from FilePlanet and the Electronic Arts ftp server. The demo offers a 78.7 MB taste of the Quake III-engine powered game, which should arrive on store shelves next week. Update: additional mirrors are available at 3D Gamers, 3DFiles, AVault, and XGR. And Rogue's Peter Mack updated his .plan with a clarification on the filename of the demo on the EA ftp server:
If you download the alice demo, and the filename reads something like alice_demo_beta7a.exe, don't panic. That's the final version we shipped to EA for testing, but apparently some mirrors didn't get it renamed to a nice, final sounding filename.
Sorry for the confusion.
