Destiny 2 F2P Plans and Shadowkeep DLC Confirmed

The Engadget article that was posted prematurely is now back online, confirming that Bungie is making Destiny 2 a free-to-play game, saying the shooter sequel will soon be available on Steam, where there is also now a listing confirming the rumored Shadowkeep expansion. Here's word on the add-on, which will be a standalone release:

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep does not require ownership of any previous Destiny 2 expansions to purchase or play.
