Christofer Sundberg is parting ways with Avalanche Studios, revealing the news
in
a tweet
that says he will leave at the end of April (thanks
Gamasutra). Sundberg co-founded the Swedish developer in 2003 with Linus
Blomberg. He's been serving as Chief Creative Officer, and is credited as the
designer on the original
Just Cause. He does not give reasons for the
departure, but such moves are not unexpected after a company is acquired, and
Nordisk Film bought Avalanche
last year. Here's his
announcement:
I just announced to the team here at #AvalancheStudios that
I will be leaving the company at the end of April. The studio I founded in my
kitchen, built, ran and loved for 16 years, working together with fantastic
individuals and teams.
