INSOMNIA: The Ark This Month

Publisher HeroCraft and developer Studio Mono announce September 27th will be the release date for INSOMNIA: The Ark, their Windows dieselpunk action/RPG. In development for over eight years, they describe the game as a labor of love that is now complete after a successful closed beta. Here's a recent overview trailer with a look, and there's also a new Legendary Developers React to INSOMNIA: The Ark video with a satirical critical response. Here's the announcement with more details about what to expect, including free post-release DLC:

Publisher HeroCraft and developer Studio Mono have announced that their upcoming dieselpunk RPG, INSOMNIA: The Ark, will launch for PC via Steam on 27 September.

The labour-of-love RPG in development for more than eight years at ten-person Studio Mono in Samara, Russia will feature more than 60 hours of content, as players explore a colossal space metropolis brimming with the secrets of a long-gone civilization.

Players will explore more than 70 unique locations, populated by 250 key characters uttering over 200,000 words of dialogue. The epic story can be completed alongside four NPC companions, and there will be 12 different endings at which the player can arrive, depending on their choices throughout the game.

Following a successful closed beta phase over the summer which helped inform final tweaks and improvements, HeroCraft and Studio Mono are ready to unleash the title eagerly awaited within roleplay circles on the world. And what's more, the game will continue to be supported post-launch, with additional content and features to be added via free DLC.
