A new video of DOOM
2 gameplay shows off a secret that was undiscovered for the almost 24 years
since the release of the first-person shooter sequel. This was tricky, requiring
the manipulation of an enemy to help you reach it. This is part
of a speed run by Zero Master that shows off some spectacular aim, so DOOM fans
will find the gameplay entertaining as well as enlightening. Here's the
explanation of the feat from The Romero himself:
CONGRATS, Zero Master! Finally, after 24 years! "To win the game you must get 100% on level 15 by John Romero." Great trick getting to that secret!
Secret explained: A secret teleporter is marked as a discoverable "secret", but when you touch it, you never enter the sector. So you would never get inside the teleporter sector to trigger the secret. The only way to trigger this secret is to be pushed by an enemy into it! #doom
