Marvel: Ultimate Alliances Disband?

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 are no longer being offered for sale. This happened with no announcement and no explanation, though it's fair to suspect Thanos may have snapped on Marvel's adventures. PCGamesN says that there were rumors in advance that this would happen, and that with yesterday being the second anniversary of the release of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, this may be due to the expiration of a license. These are the second and third Marvel games to bite the dust in under a year, as Marvel Heroes shut down exactly eight months ago. They don't even show up when you search for them, but direct links for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 still work, and the games should remain in the libraries of all who own them.
