Gone Gold - Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal announce the completion of development on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. They say the now-gold installment in the adventures of the sexy virtual archeologist is on track for its planned release in September. In a related note, this video features a mission walkthrough from the game (thanks Dark Horizons via Ant). The almost 10-minute clip is narrated appropriately enough by narrative director Jason Dozois, who introduces Paititi, an Incan village they say is "the largest hub ever found in a Tomb Raider game." This includes lots of gameplay, showing character interactions, exploration, and puzzle-solving, but no combat. Here's the full gold announcement:
Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal are proud to announce that Shadow of the Tomb Raider has officially gone gold. Lara’s defining moment is out of Eidos-Montréal’s hard-working hands & on its way to manufacturing. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will forge herself into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be. Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC/Steam on September 14, 2018.
