Dead Island 2 is still in the works, as noted in a
new
tweet from the Twitter account for the zombie sequel (thanks
USgamer).
Word is: "Dead Island 2 is still in development and we will share more on this
at a later stage." This would probably feel like bigger news if not for the fact
that the last we heard about this game was a similar proof of life statement
over two years ago. Dead Island 2 was
originally expected in 2015, but that plan ran ashore when
developer YAGER was dropped from the
project. The most recent word is that Sumo Digital had assumed developer
duties, but that's about all we know about where this stands.
