THQ Nordic announces it "raises development resources for The Guild 3," their upcoming medieval life simulation sequel. This all comes with a very positive tone, but they announce Canadian developer GolemLabs is no longer working on the game, which will be completed by Purple Lamp, a newly formed studio. They say Purple Lamp will address the bugs in the early access version available though GOG.com and Steam, while integrating planned features, including multiplayer support, calling this "the very last remaining stretch of development," in spite of the admission this will take months.
