This afternoon's livestream reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII reveals that the shooter sequel will be distributed via Blizzard's Battle.net, and there's already a tab for the game in the Battle.net client. This trailer helps explain the news and discusses a particular focus on the PC edition of the game being handled in part by Beenox. They say the game will include dedicated servers, allow a great degree of customization, and will feature a redesigned user interface. They promise an uncapped framerate, support for 4K, HDR, and ultrawidescreen monitors, and scalability to support a wide range of systems. In a way this represents the closure of a circle, as Overwatch lead designer Jeff Kaplan says: "Those of us at Blizzard have been friends with Treyarch for many, many years. When it came to working on Overwatch, we consulted with Treyarch on a number of features."
