reports that Universal Studios is planning a new movie based on DOOM,
id Software's seminal first-person shooter. The first DOOM motion picture was
not very well-received, and
even its star Dwayne Johnson recently
threw it under
the bus. But word is the studio is willing to step back into the slipgate to
do battle with the video game curse, as actress
Nina Bergman
tweets that she's taken a part in the movie, and that it will feature a
much better
script.
