Orochi Park Demo

Want more politics? Steam now offers a playable demo for Orochi Park, even though this adventure game is not due for full release for another year. This is an interactive story they call "the most advanced Twine game ever made." Twine supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, but platforms are not listed on the page. Orochi Park parodies games, pop culture, and global politics, featuring familiar game characters, as well as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, so expect some satirical politics along the way. This was started as a fan-created tribute to The Secret World, but somewhere along the way evolved into a planned commercial release. This trailer shows things off, and here's word on the demo:

In the new demo, released today via Steam, Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un find themselves teaming up to fight a greater evil. Funcom writer and game director Joel Bylos makes a cameo.

The demo is an early one - the game is far from finished - but creator Anima Chambers hopes this will give people a taste of what's to come, as well as the opportunity for valuable feedback.

"Welcome To Orochi Park has been a labour of love for years now, and I'm delighted to finally reveal what I've been working on," said Chambers. "The full game won't be released for some time yet, but the demo should give people a sense of what the game is all about."

Chambers added: "The Secret World community have been really supportive so far, which is great for something that began its life as a fan project. I'm very grateful for my core fanbase of The Secret World players."
