I mentioned recently that the local weather had been on an odd streak of following unofficial rules-of-thumb. This weekend is falling into that pattern as well, as Memorial Day is typically considered to be the unofficial start of summer. True to that, what had been a surprisingly spring-like run of spring-like weather has abruptly ended, and it is hot as Hades out there. I don't think we've had a day before this weekend where it hit 80°F, and today we hit 90°F. Okay, then... happy summer!
