While it's been known for some time now (having been mentioned in interviews), Sierra Studios has officially announced that Half-Life: Blue Shift is the name of the extra mission created by Gearbox Software for the forthcoming Dreamcast version of Half-Life. The mission surrounds the Black Mesa security team, and is one of several enhancements to the console port of the game, along with higher quality models and animations. All of this comes, however, at the loss of multiplayer, as the Dreamcast version is single-player only.
