The Hyper Light Drifter website now offers a release date for this throwback-styled action/RPG, saying it will come to Windows and OS X on March 31st, and that it is "coming soon 2016" to consoles, also offering a new trailer from the crowdfunded game (thanks Digg via nin). They say this is available for preorder, offering an exclusive wallpaper as incentive, as they don't make incentives like they used to. Word is: "Hyper Light Drifter is a 2D Action RPG in the vein of the best 8-bit and 16-bit classics, with modernized mechanics and designs on a much grander scale."
