Happy birthday to my stepdad, an amazing dude I don't mention that often here. Stepparents can get a bad rap (I blame Cinderella), but I got a great deal when my mom remarried, and my stepfather helped make me who I am today, which sounds like an indictment, except I'm thinking of some of my better qualities that remain carefully hidden. Thanks for your indulgence, as I'm now covered in case I forget to call him today. :)
