So now that the details have dropped on the HTC Vive, it's time to start thinking about whether it seems more desirable than the Rift. I sort of feel that it is, with the external cameras and included VR controllers covering the additional expense. I know for many the cost of either unit is a non-starter, so value is a relative concept, and reviews will be an essential part of this, but that's my take on this for now.
