Solomon talks to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, where the lead designer on XCOM 2
explains what is being done to address technical issues like framerates dropping
in Firaxis' new installment in the strategy series. He addresses the nonexistent
concern that such problems were intentional, saying: "I can honestly say that we
didn’t know it would be this way at launch." He explains that the problems some
users are encountering did not come up in their testing, but says now that
they've been identified, they are working to address them: "I can’t say dates,
but I would say that we’re working very furiously. We already have a lot of
those issues in our sights." The quotes they offer are part of an interview they
plan on publishing in its entirety soon.
