Today is also the birthday of a couple of other cult heroes, as David Bowie was born on this day in 1947, making the (still) thin white duke 69 years old. Thanks to nin for pointing out that Bowie fans are the ones who get a present out of this deal, in the form of a new album. Today is also the official inception date for Roy Batty from Blade Runner. Happy birthday Roy, and remember, the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long!
