Steam News announces the release of the SteamOS editions of Saints Row IV and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. The whole open-world Saints Row series is on sale to celebrate, and they say the SteamOS editions of the previous installments in the franchise are in the works:

Both Saints Row IV and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell are now available for SteamOS!

Thanks to Steam Play, having either game in your library means you can play it on any supported OS -- Windows or SteamOS.

To celebrate, for a limited time you can grab Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition for 70% off, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell for 66% off, or the entire Saints Row Ultimate Franchise Pack for 66% off.

Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third -- included in the Saints Row Ultimate Franchise Pack -- are also planned for SteamOS early next year, and will also support Steam Play.

In addition Full Steam Controller support for Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell is planned for early next year!
