A post on NeoGAF outlines the procedure for permanently deleting a game from your Steam software library, for those times when it's not enough to just hide them in a folder (the folder name one post mentions using is called "shame"). Word is: "From https://help.steampowered.com, just log-in and select Games, Software, etc., select the game from the search function that shows up, and select I want to permanently remove this game from my account."
