Daedalic Entertainment announces Valhalla Hills has officially left early access on Steam, missing the November 19th release date for the Settlers-inspired strategy game they announced just six weeks ago. A release trailer offers a look at the game, and here's word:

Today the final version of Valhalla Hills will be digitally available on Steam and GOG, among other platforms.

With the official digital release of Valhalla Hills, a new type of adversary, the mountain dwarves, will also be implemented in the game to give our sturdy Vikings some more trouble. But the newly available defense towers will give settlements and edge and help keep villages safe.

During Early Access, the developers received a lot of helpful press and player feedback and continuously improved Valhalla Hills and the gaming experience it provides. This cooperation definitely paid off: Valhalla Hills has been nominated in four categories during the German Developer Awards, among the nominations are Best German Game and Best Game Design.
